Walking to & from Work

Rather than pay £4.80 for two trips on the train I walked to and from work today, a 7 mile round trip from Twickenham to Osterley. I plan to do the same tomorrow if I, and my aging knees, feel up to it. If you'd like to join me I'm setting off from Richmond Road at around 7am. It took me around 50mins this morning and 55mins this evening.

As I was thinking about this blog on the way home, I had a vision of round 50 people all walking with me to Osterley! I'm sure it won't happen and I'd do best to bring my iRiver radio next week so I can occupy myself during the walk.

Already I feel more positive but I'm not sure if it's because I've saved £4.80 or because I've taken some excercise - it's probably the money!

I made my own sandwich this morning too and I've already had fun with the cling film this evening for tomorrow's sandwich; lancashire cheese on cranberry bread - nice.

New Alpha CD50 Condensing Boiler

Yes, it's my new Alpha Boiler CD50 complete with Zenex Energy 'top box', Alpha Solar Smart 90 and Thermoflow magnetic ioniser.

People used to talk about the value of their home and how much additional equity they'd made that week. Now, I don't know about you but my favourite conversational topic is my new super efficient boiler. Hang on, this is important to me because we're on ultra expensive LPG, liquid petroleum gas so efficiency is everything.

The boiler, 'top box' and thermoflow are already installed and working with the sloar panel due to be commissioned next week.
